Dillon, Dallas Mitchell

Dallas Mitchell Dillon, 69, of Peterstown, W.Va. and formerly of Giles County, Va., departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, W.Va.

Born in Monroe County on May 13, 1938, he was a son of the late Mark Matthew and Lora Blanche Sarver Dillon. Dallas was a retired boiler operator with over forty years service at Celanese Celco Plant at Narrows, was a member of The Gold Wing Motorcycle Club, and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ellen D. Pack. He leaves to cherish his memory his companion and mother of his children, Louise Radford Dillon; a son, Mark Matthew Dillon of Boones Mill, Va.; two daughters, Debbie D. and Gregory Taufer of Peterstown, W.Va. and Tina and Chuck Lester of Ballard, W.Va.; a brother, Markie Dillon of Peterstown, W.Va.; ten grandchildren; and ten greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Bethel Chapel Church in the Clendennin Community at Narrows. Burial will follow in Peterstown Cemetery with military rites by the VFW and American Legion Posts of Giles County.
