Dillard, Treva DeWeese

Treva Edna DeWeese Dillard, 81, formerly of Copper Hill passed away Sunday June 10, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents; Cabell and Dovie DeWeese, husband; Floyd E. Dillard, sons; Floyd E. Dillard, Jr. and Carlton L. Dillard; brother; Wilbert DeWeese; sisters; Pauline Hoorelbek, Kathleen Poff and Aberdeen DeWeese.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Flora, Glenna and Wayne Minter, all of Roanoke, Vicky and Ricky Turman of Boones Mill; seven grandchildren; one step granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; two step great granddaughters; brothers, McKinley DeWeese of Cloverdale, Winston DeWeese of Southport, N.C., Houston DeWeese of Winchester; and sisters, Nannie King of Roanoke, Lela Mae Poff of Salem.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday June 13, 2007 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Pastor Olander “Red” English officiating. Interment will follow at Copper Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Maberry Funeral Home.
