Dickerson Jr., Eugene Harlow

Eugene Harlow Dickerson Jr., of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Friday, May 15, 2009.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Karen Dickerson; three children and their spouses, Bryan and Tonya Dickerson, Jody and Stacey Dickerson, and Natalie Dickerson; his parents, Harlow and Alice Dickerson; four grandchildren, Zac and Taylor Dickerson, and Alyssa and Wyatt Dickerson; and a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tommy Walters.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Ken Farrar officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.

The family would like to send special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Blue Ridge Cancer Care, the Medical Care Unit and Emergency Room at the Carilion NRV Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at the funeral home.
