Dickerson, Dorothea Riggs

Dorothea Riggs Dickerson, 50, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her brother, Philip Riggs; her sister, Virginia Berno; and her parents, Scott and Ann Riggs.

She leaves behind her husband, Bryan Dickerson; her son, Philip Dickerson; and her daughter, Darrah Dickerson.

Dorothea was an active member of Tried-Stone Christian Center (TSCC), was involved in Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, and was previously a member of Christ Church Episcopal, all in Blacksburg, Va.

A Memorial Service will be conducted by TSCC Pastor Eric Willoughby at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Blacksburg Christiansburg Fellowship. An informal public reception is offered on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.
