Dickerson, Arvin
Arvin Dickerson, age 91, of Pulaski and recently Fairlawn, passed away October 14, 2018 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Nona and Charlie Sarver, with his loving family by his side.
Arvin was born March 15, 1927 to the late John Madison Dickerson and Gracie Ella McPeak Dickerson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71½ years in November 2017, Margaret Collins Dickerson, brothers Elton and twin brother Marvin Dickerson. He was also preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Patricia Joyce Dickerson and great grandson Mason Daniel Whited, and daughter in law Linda Agee Dickerson.
Arvin was probably known best as “Tire Man” around Pulaski, having owned and operated the original Quality Tire Service in Pulaski for 45 years.
He is survived by his children and spouse, Roy Dickerson, Brenda Duncan, and Nona and Charlie Sarver. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and spouses, Kellie and JR Thompson, Richard and Denise Webb, Amy and Matthew Pietrykowski, Roy (Ro) Dickerson and Alicia, Andrew Sarver and fiancé Annette Serrano, Robert (Rob) Webb and girlfriend Beth Begley, Jeff Webb, Lauren Whited and Jacob, one step grandson Luke and Susan Duncan. Also surviving are 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Seagle Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Derek Burton officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. The family will be meeting at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Nona and Charlie Sarver in Fairlawn.
