Dewese, Annie Mae

Annie Mae Dewese, 69, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 14, 2009. She had been employed with Imperial Reading for two years before becoming a homemaker.

She was the daughter to Albert “Peanut” Johnson, and the late Mamie E. Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William R. Dewese. She is also survived by her two sons, Anthony Dewese, of Radford, and Steven Dewese of Christiansburg; brothers-in law and their wives, George and Matsue Dewese, and Robert L. Dewese; sister and brother in-law, Mildred and Bobby Jarrett, of Christiansburg; and brothers-in-law and sister-inlaw, George E. and Matsue Y. Dewese, of Shawsville, and Robert L. Dewese.

The family will receive friends at The Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2009, with the Rev. Richard Kingrea, the Rev. John Collins and the Rev. Buford Linkous officiating.
