Dew, Sharon Smith

Sharon Noelle Smith Dew, age 69 of Burleigh Horton Road, Draper passed away Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Born May 6, 1936 in West Virginia she was the daughter of Doris Poling Smith and the late Godfrey Smith.

One son, Paul Dew and one brother, Godfrey Lowell Smith also preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband Howard Bruce Dew of Draper; sons & daughters-in-law Billy & Becky Dew of Richmond, VA and John & Denise Dew of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren Megan E. Dew, Kelly F. Richards, Ian W. Dew, and Michael B. Dew; and her sisters Lois Hawley of Pulaski, Barbara Stillman of Chesapeake, VA, and Karen Wertz of Newport News, VA.

Funeral services will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Hugh Kilgore officiating. Interment will follow at the Peninsula Memorial Gardens, Newport News, Virginia – Monday May 1, at 3 p.m. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
