Denny, Christine Campbell

Christine Campbell Denny, 86, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. She was born January 25, 1924, in Hazard, Ky. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Zola Campbell; also her sister, Bobbie Jean Campbell. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 66 years, William A. Denny; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Karen Denny, of Christiansburg, Va.; and grandson, Cameron Denny, also of Christiansburg, Va. Christine was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was totally devoted to her family and church. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and the outdoors. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2011, at the Horne Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Harvey officiating.
