Dean, Ruby Sutphin

Ruby Sutphin Dean, age 91 of Pulaski, died Sunday August 12, 2012 at her residence. She was born on April 1, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Lydia Duncan Sutphin and Barney Sutphin.

She was a member of the Poplar Camp Church of God of Prophecy, and attended the Worship Center in Pulaski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Anders Dean, two brothers; Willie Sutphin and Clinton Sutphin, and three sisters; Virginia Rankin, Gettie Viars, and May White.

She is survived by her son; Roger L. Dean and his wife Mary of Pulaski; a daughter, Charlene D. Wheeler and her husband Jeff of Bostwick, FL. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Kyle Wheeler and his wife Natalie of Jacksonville, FL, Ashley Tucker and her husband Daniel of Middleboro, FL, and Brent F. Dean of Pulaski.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday August 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery in Poplar Camp. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home.
