Dean, Marjorie Lavaughn Norrick

In loving memory of Marjorie Lavaughn Norrick Dean, 76 of Draper, Va., who departed this life on Feb. 24, 2008 in the Pulaski Community Hospital to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was born in Illinois on April 24, 1931 and was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Dean. Surviving are: her loving husband, Max Elroy Dean, Sr., Draper; sons and daughters-in-law, Max Dean, Jr. and Janie of Rural Retreat, Va., Larry Dean and Geneva of Draper; daughter, Linda K. Dean of Lynchburg, Va.; four grandchildren, Scott Turman, Dublin, Sherrie Morman, Salem, Ami Dalton, Pulaski, Randall Dean, Draper; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred LaMarche, Ind., Alice Smith, S.C.

The family would like to thank Dr. Pendergrast and all of the loving and caring personnel that took care of Marjorie, wife and mother. Max Dean and Family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Reynolds and Rev. George Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery (Poplar Camp) Wythe County.

Visiting will be Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 p.m.
