Davis, Robert Van

Robert Van Davis (Bobby), 69, of Salem, VA, went to Heaven to be with his father Saturday, February 11, 2017.

He was born September 15, 1947 at Pearisburg, VA, the son of the late Van Trigg Jr. & Anna Sue Stanley Davis. He loved hunting and fishing and especially loved his hunting dogs. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served his country proudly serving in the Vietnam War. All of his pain has now been lifted.

He will be loved and missed by his mother, Anna Sue Stanley Davis, a sister and brother-in-law, Sally K. Davis & Mike Price as well as his relatives, extended family members and many friends.

A semi private graveside service for family and close friends is planned for Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Eaton’s Chapel Cemetery, Staffordsville, with Charles Henderson officiating. Per his wishes, there will be no visitation service.
