Davis, Margaret Vaught

Margaret Vaught Davis, age 86, of Blacksburg, died, Sunday, April 5, 2020, in her home. She was born in Giles County on December 23, 1933 to the late Roy King and Virginia Meredith Vaught. She was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Eldridge Davis, six brothers and three sisters.

She attended Slusser’s Chapel Church of God.

She is survived by her children, Vickie and Glenn Sharpe, Karon and Gary Pearman, Sharon Davis, Gary T. and Susan Davis, Shelby and Gary Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer Combs and husband Dacker, Crystal Pigman and husband Daryn, Christie Portillo and husband Ishmael, Jason Pearman and wife Rebecca, Michael Davis and wife Renae, Stacie High and husband Robert, Megan Pippin and husband Jason, Brian Smith, Todd Smith and wife Miranda; great-grandchildren, Dawson Barnett, Haley Combs, Ethan Combs, Emma Pigman, Grant Pigman, Madison Portillo, Natalie Portillo, Tyler Pearman, Tanner Pearman, Ellie Boehme, Bailey Boehme, Tucker Pippin, Sawyer Pippin, Hailey Smith, Ryland Smith; siblings Janie Moss, Jeanne Davis, Jackie Vaught, Brenda Shaver.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Services by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
