Davis, Marce Casper

Marce Casper Davis, 80, of Blacksburg, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Lewis- Gale Montgomery Hospital. He was born in Virginia on May 30, 1931, to the late Warren and Ocie Richards Davis. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Willie Davis, Ivory Davis, Warren V. Davis, and Buddy Davis; and sisters, Edna Walters, Beatrice Harless, and Carolyn Bevins. He is survived by his wife, Carol B. Davis, of Blacksburg; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Dawn Davis, and Dennis Davis; sisters, Jean Harless and Joyce Lang, all of Blacksburg; brothers and sister-in-law, Dexter and Alma Davis, of Floyd, and Elton Davis, of Shawsville; five grandchildren, Stephanie McCoy, Jennifer Love, Christopher Davis, Jason Davis, Anthony Davis, all of Blacksburg; sisters-in-law, Virginia Davis, of Salem, and Sylvia Davis, of Vinton, and Vivian Davis Long, of Blacksburg; brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law, Kenneth and Cho Williams, of Christiansburg, Joe and Patricia Williams, of Giles County, Curtis and Jean Brumfield, of Christiansburg, and Nancy Farris, of Virginia Beach; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Shake Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, Va. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening, February 24, 2012, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
