Davis, Dorothy Mae Lyon

Dorothy Mae Lyon Davis, 86, of Floyd, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013. Dorothy was born July 15, 1926, to the late Cloud and Beulah Akers Lyon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ed Davis; and a son, Pat Saul. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Randy and Patty Saul, Carolyn and Mike Smith, Ralph Saul and Doris Creech, all of Floyd, Pete and Martha Saul, of Richmond, and Billy and Melony Saul, of Radford; grandchildren, Butch Saul, Justin Saul, Amy Clemans, Melissa Armstrong, Anita Harman, Tommy Saul, Johnny Saul, Josh Saul, Amy Nunnelley, Douglas Saul, Mindy Saul, Jessica Morgan, Tiffany Watson, and Suanne Roberson; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren ; brother, Charles Lyon and wife, Joyce; sisters, Edith Goad and Loretta Langhorn; and many other survivors that called her Granny Dot. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 2, 2013, from 10 a.m. until noon at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at noon with Pastor Joseph Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
