Davidson Jr., Michael Ray

Michael Ray Davidson Jr., 28, of Pulaski, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 18, 2008, due to complications from pneumonia. He was born April 18, 1980, to Michael Ray Davidson Sr. and Janet Marie Davidson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roscoe and Ethel Davidson, David Lee Clark Sr. and Edna Sheppard; and by one aunt, Cindy Clark.

Surviving are his son, Gabriel Michael Davidson; daughter, Carla Nova Davidson; girlfriend and mother of his children, Angala Miller; parents, Mike and Janet Davidson; sister, Jessica Davidson Martin; cousin/brother, Chris Dunagan; nephew, Corey Martin; nieces, Taylor and Abbey Farmer; several aunts; two uncles; lots of cousins; and special friends, Bobby and Leota Cook, and Eugene Butler.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at Abundant Life Ministries, Pulaski. Michael’s aunt, Pastor Vicky Akers, will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Short’s Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Va.

Visitation for friends and family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Abundant Life Ministries. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to his parents at 1835 Caseknife Road, Pulaski, Va. 24301. Stevens Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
