Daniels, Patricia Goodell

Patricia Goodell Daniels, 67, of Christiansburg, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 12, 2006, after a brief illness, at New River Valley Medical Center.

She was born in Sullivan, N.Y. on December 28, 1938 to the late William H. and Mabel Keville Goodell. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Goodell.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and David DeDonato, of Hopedale, Mass., Brenda and Lane Wimmer, of Christiansburg; sons and daughter-in-law, Russell Daniels, of Christiansburg, Tim and Laura Daniels, of Christiansburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Guy Hull, of Canton, Ohio, Shirley and Kip Collins, of Tampa Bay, Fla., Mary and Duane Hughes, of Canastota, N.Y.; brother, William Goodell, of Manila, Philippines; grandchildren, Cara Wimmer, Caitlin Wimmer, Ryan DeDonato, Cole DeDonato, Cody Daniels, Brooke Daniels, Paige Daniels; special friends, “Aunt” Betty Daniels, Lorene Cole, Kevin Ebrahimzadeh, Frances and John McCoy; special thanks to, Gary McCoy and the nurses and doctors in the critical care unit at NRV Medical Center for their care and concern.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg with the Rev. David Plott officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106 A, Roanoke, Va. 24018, in memory of Patricia Daniels. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Friday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
