Dalton, William Floyd

William Floyd Dalton age 86 of Pulaski passed away Monday, July 26, 2010 in the Blue Ridge Nursing Center, Stuart. Born June 18, 1924 in Barren Springs, he was the son of the late Garland Marion Dalton and Sara Elizabeth Bayse Dalton.

His wife of 61 years, Pearl Ellen Snow Dalton (6/9/2010); one granddaughter Lillie Pearl Hurst; and numerous brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.

Surviving are his children Ada Elizabeth Dalton and Pete Viers of Pulaski, Lois Ann Hurst and husband Jimmy of Kentucky; special grandchildren Linda Pearl Jarrells and husband Rocky Jarrells of Dinwiddie, Marvin Viers and Melissa Horton of Pulaski, Johnny David Hurst of Kentucky, Thomas Lincoln Hurst of Kentucky; great grandchildren Noah Christian Jarrells and Arianna Dawn Viers and Tatum Rose Jarrells; and numerous other great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Richard Fisher officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
