Dalton, Ruby Tolbert

Ruby Tolbert Lovern Dalton, age 88 passed into God’s hands Saturday, August 11, 2012. Born November 28, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Willie Tolbert and Lilly Mae Marshall Tolbert. A daughter, Judy Lovern Vires; one sister, Thelma McDaniel Stanton and three brothers, Junior W. Tolbert, L.A. Tolbert, and Shelby R. Tolbert also preceded her in death.

She was retired from Dublin Garment Company.

Surviving- Sons- Gene Tolbert-Pulaski, Burnie Lovern-Pulaski, Roy Leon Dalton-Staffordsville, Michael Dalton-LA. Daughters- Patsy D. Horton-Roanoke, Barbara D. McCoy-Belsprings, Jane D. Perkins-Pulaski. 16 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 9 nephews and 7 nieces.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Tommy Simpkins officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
