Dalton, Gwendolyn Elaine

Gwendolyn Elaine Dalton, 70, formerly of Narrows, departed this life Sunday evening, November 17, 2013 at Sentara and Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge. Born in Giles County on June 29, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Helen Blankenship Chambers.

She had been employed in the civil service of the U S Government.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Steven Dalton and Gregory Dalton both of Dale City; her two grandsons Stephen and Adam; and her brother Phillip Chambers of Waynesboro, PA. She was preceded in death by her brothers William Chambers in 2006 and David Chambers in 2008.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 10:00 am in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Larry Johnson of Glen Lyn Church of Christ officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Peterstown Cemetery at Rich Creek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 4 until 6 pm.
