Dalton, David Sanders

David Sanders Dalton, 88 of Narrows, went to be with his loving family in Heaven on Saturday, December 27th, 2014. He was born in Wytheville, Virginia on June 20th, 1926, and was the son of the late William and Mary Dalton.

David was the last surviving family member of four sisters and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Spicer Dalton; and two daughters in Heaven, Beverly Jean Dalton and Diane Dalton.

He is survived by his children, Carter Dalton and Sharon Holdren of Wolf Creek, Donald and Linda Dalton of Rich Creek, Kathy and Clifford Long of Lindside, Peter and Debbie Dalton of Pearisburg, Joe and Marsha Dalton of Narrows, and Ricky and Melissa Dalton of Narrows; twelve grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Pastor David Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
