Dalton, Betty B.

Betty B. Dalton, 73, of Pulaski, died on Friday afternoon, December 8, 2006 at her home.

She was born March 31, 1934 in Delton, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Viola Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles Otis Dalton and by a brother, Doug Boyd.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Becky Dalton of Dublin; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Richard Woodson of Okla., and Robin and Joseph Rutrough of Floyd; grandsons, Robby Cantrell, John Cantrell, Bryan Morris, Josh Chinault and Cody Dalton; granddaughters, Ashton Cox, Brittany Sheets and Cheyenne Dalton; step granddaughter and husband, Christine and Shane Chestnutt; step grandchildren, Ashleigh, Ethan and Ryan Chestnutt; special friend and caregiver, Asa Adkins of Dublin; brothers, Marvin Boyd of Dayton, Ohio and Byron Boyd of Dublin; and sisters, Margaret Crockett of Delton and Evelyn King of Salem.

A memorial service will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Osborne and the Rev. Randall Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the service hour. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County.
