Daigle, Donald Edgard Paul

Donald Edgard Paul Daigle, 77, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006.

He retired from Hercules in 1989 after 33 years of service. He was a member of Belmont Christian Church and served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Junius Joseph and Flossie Burlette Daigle. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years, Mary Lu Arnold Daigle; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Arnold Daigle and Leigh Ann Daigle, and their children, Brandon Aldridge Daigle and Jaryck Adair Daigle of Christiansburg; son, David Maurice Daigle of Roanoke, daughter and son-in-law, Donna Lu Daigle Worrell and W. J. Worrell, Jr. and their daughter, Brittney Lu Worrell, all of Draper.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Bayne, Pastor Lynda Schupp and Pastor Jerry Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
