Cyrus, Robert Frederick

Robert Frederick Cyrus (Fred), age 51, of Narrows, departed this life Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Regional Medical Center at Blacksburg. Born in Giles County on April 9, 1960 he was a son of the late Robert and Brenda Blankenship Cyrus.

He had spent his lifetime struggling with disabilities but was always in the loving care of his family. He was blessed to be the brother of Crystal Harris of Badin Lake, NC, Anna Neal of Dublin, VA and Amanda Sadler of Christiansburg, VA and to be the uncle of seven nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with the Rev. Larry Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services.
