Custer, Debra Duncan

Debra Karen Duncan Custer, 54, of Christiansburg, Va., passed from this life to her eternal reward in Heaven on Wednesday, November 14, 2007.

She was a fifteen year employee of Cracker Barrel, Christiansburg, where she loved her job, co-workers and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Earnest Duncan; her grandparents, John Henry and Mary Alpha Duncan, Hollace McKinley and India Belle Dickerson; a special uncle, Curtis Duncan; and a special friend, Kim Metcalf.

Surviving are her husband, Randall Custer, Sr.; her mother and stepfather, Emma and Pop Lee “Elbert Lee Reed,” of Riner; son, Jason Honaker and wife, Becky of Blacksburg; daughters, Amy Smith and husband, Kyle, Jessica (Jessi) Honaker and fiancee, Chris Sutphin, all of Christiansburg; former husband, Daniel Honaker of Christiansburg; stepson, Randall Custer, Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Giles County; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Tailor Honaker, Miranda, Justin and Kaleigh Smith, Faith Sutphin, Heather, Cydney, Katy and Bailey Custer; brother, Darrell Duncan; sister, Claudia Burton; special niece, Emily Conley; special aunt, Beulah Harrison and special friend, Mabel (Tootie) Custer.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2007 at the New Hope Church of God, Mudpike Road, Christiansburg, Va. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2007 in the New Hope Church of God conducted by Pastor T. Michael Bond and the Rev.
