Cummings, Quincy Allen

Quincy Allen Cummings, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his home, in Salisbury, North Carolina, after battling metastatic melanoma. He was the son of the late Harvey and Edna Cummings of Riner, Va.

Quincy’s career was focused in the food/grocery industry. He was partner and co-founder of a successful food brokerage company located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He retired early and enjoyed life on his farm, golfing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Quincy is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Cummings; daughters, Sherry Coleman (Sam), Angela Zunk (Curry) of Salisbury N.C.; daughter, Kathy Tarlton (Gary) and son, Robert Cummings of China Grove, N.C.; son, Thomas Cummings of Raleigh; and brother, Royal Cummings of Christiansburg, Va. Quincy leaves seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
