Cumby, Virginia Irene

Virginia Irene Cumby, age 85, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2019. She was born Virginia Irene Morris on September 28, 1933 in Lynchburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mott Allen, Jr.; sons, Jeffrey and James; two brothers; three sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan L. Collis-Ramsey and husband, O.P., Polly J. Damron and husband, Mike; four sons, Christopher Cumby, Thomas Cumby and wife, Lynn, John Cumby and wife, Laurie, Mott Cumby, III and wife, Lori; brother, Norman Morris; sister, Dorthy Downes; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
