Cumby Jr., Rev. Mott A.

Rev. Mott A. Cumby Jr., 75, of Christiansburg, Va., died on Monday, September 28, 2009, at Pulaski Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jeff and Jimmy Cumby. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Ginny) Cumby, of Christiansburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and O.P. Ramsey, of Narrows, Va., and Polly and Mike Damron, of Winchester, Va.; four sons and daughtersin-law, Christopher Cumby, of Vinton, John and Laurie Cumby, of Riner, Thomas and Lynn Cumby, of River Edge, N.J., and Mott A. Cumby III, of Christiansburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Don Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until service time at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg, Va.
