Croy, Brenda Sue McDaniel

Brenda Sue McDaniel Croy, 62, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at her home in Radford. She was a retired nurse with Carilion. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles McDaniel and sister, Clydia McDaniel.

Survivors include her mother, Ruby Gladis Phillips McDaniel; daughter and friend, Angela Croy and Richard McClung of Radford; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Natosha Croy of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Adrienna and Tristan Croy; great grandchild, Anecia Prim; sisters, Connie Scott and Jean Smith; brother, Junior McDaniel; and she was known as a second mom to, Chasity Sowder, Melissa and Jimmy Sheets, Teresa Taylor, Kelly Parks, and known to their children as Nanny Sue.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 15 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
