Crosier, Frances Roop

Frances Roop Crosier, 89 of Radford, and formerly of Dublin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Wheatland Hills Retirement Center. She was born on July 18, 1922, in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Lucy Albert Roope and Samuel Hampton Roop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Crosier.

She is survived by son, Lee Crosier, of Greensboro, N.C.; daughters, Linda Jennings and her husband, Howard, of Forest, Va., Sandy Landreth and her husband, Ronnie, of Dublin, and Carolyn Jones, of Dublin. Also surviving are five grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Seagle Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2012, with the Rev. Randy Winn officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Christian Church, Pulaski, Va.
