Crook, John Grandville

John Grandville Crook, 65, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired employee of Volvo Trucks with over 30 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Bradle Crook; daughter, Kimberly Anne Crook, of Radford; son and daughter-in-law, John Joseph and Mary Crook, of Pacolet, S.C.; grandson, Brandon Arnold Crook; greatgranddaughter, Taylor Kail; brother, Russell Crook, of Columbus, Ohio; and uncle, Clyde Martin, of Clearbrook, Fla. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Ernest Depew officiating. Members of VFW Post #776 will conduct Military Last Rites. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
