amem_church3.jpgJack Curtiss Cromer, age 83, of Blacksburg died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Heritage Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and her husband. He was a graphic designer for a Roanoke Advertising Agency.

After retirement he was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Hospice, Humane Society Store, Hearts & Hammers, and the Interfaith Food Pantry. Mr. Cromer was a lifetime member of the Blacksburg United Methodist Church where he served as a member of the Board of Trustees, an usher, a missions chairman, and a teacher at both Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

He is survived by his wife, Fredda Price Cromer; 4 children: Vicki (Dave) Gruver, Haven (Tressia) Price, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Price, Anthony (Cindy) Price; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and his niece, Laura Fortemuller and nephew, Kevin Rose.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Blacksburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Carson officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
