Crockett, Frances Roberts

Frances Crockett, 80, of Christiansburg, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. She is preceded in death by her sons Donald R. Atkinson ll and John Med Atkinson and her parents Howard and Annie Jennelle Roberts.

She is survived by her life time companion and caretaker Curtis Crockett, her brothers; Bobby Roberts, David Roberts and wife Charlotte as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances enjoyed arranging flowers, gardening, cooking large meals for her always appreciative family and taking rides in the country with Curtis.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 10 to 11am at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11am in the chapel with Perry Hall officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
