Edith Gregory Crigger, 97, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Crigger was a Christian lady whom everyone loved and respected. She was a lifelong member of the Pulaski Church of Christ. She retired from Radford Arsenal with 27 years of dedicated service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Crigger; daughter, Margaret; son, Stan; parents, James and Mahala Gregory; four brothers, Clayton, Chester, Collin , Verlon; and one sister, Thelma Lindsay.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Franklin and Hilda Crigger, of Dublin, and J.W. and Francie Crigger, of Pulaski; daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Otis O’Dell, of Hiwassee; daughter, Elva Bratton, of Dublin; daughter-in-law, Sharon Crigger, of Dublin; sister, Velma Vaughn, of Christiansburg; 10 grandchildren, Darrell and Pam Bratton, Philip Crigger, Steve and Tonya Crigger, Tommy Crigger, Vena and Bentley Duncan, Doris and Kyle Glass, Karen and Glenn Hurd, R.A. and Velena O’Dell, Maria and Allen Truell and Pam and Steve Whitte; 17 great-grandchildren; eight great-great- grandchildren; extended family, Moss and Linda Boone, Greg and Melissa Boone, James and Karen Boone; five step grandchildren; and a very special friend and caregiver, Barbara Duncan, of Blacksburg.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 815 Randolph Avenue, Pulaski. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Clarence Lavender and David Hancock will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Friends and family are welcome at Mrs. Crigger’s home, 101 4th street, Dublin.
