Crawford, Karen Sheppard

Karen Renea Sheppard Crawford, 56, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010. Born October 16, 1953, in Roanoke County, Va. She was a machine operator at Moog in Blacksburg, Va. with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Reed Sheppard. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Crawford; her mother, Violet Rena Sheppard; sons, Jon Link and Timmy Link and fiance’, Crystal Zeigler; stepson, Tony Crawford and wife, Heather; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda Lilly and husband, Stephen, and Linda Orange and husband, Marvin; sister-in-law, Linda Hall and husband, Charles; grandchildren, T.W. Link, Cody Link and wife, Kayla, Sierra Link, Thor Link, and Jackson Link; and brothers, Larry Sheppard and wife, Barbara, and Barry Sheppard and wife, Brenda. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 16, 2010, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Atkinson, the Rev. Richard Kingrea and the Rev.
