Cox, Jr., Leonard Oakley

Leonard Oakley Cox, Jr., age 58, of Floyd, Left us too soon to be with his heavenly father after a long battle with cancer on November 21, 2014. He was born May 13, 1956. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Leonard O., Sr. and Mary Cox.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ethlene and Milton Duncan; sisters, Virginia Pinson, Sheila (Russell) Janney; loving soulmate, Janie Weddle; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Gardner Funeral home Chapel with Reverend Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Jacksonville Cemetery.
