Cox, Elba Ray

Elba Ray Cox, 91, of Willis, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012, at CNRV Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cicero and Gay Cox; his twin brother, Shelba Cox; sisters; Hazel Scaggs and Izola Moye; and twin brothers, Brady and Grady Cox. He is survived by two very dear sisters who took care of him, Josephine Scaggs and Ovada Weeks and husband, Marvie; two brothers at home, Archie and Elwood Cox; and sister, Agnes Montgomery and husband, Shelley; special caregivers, Nancy Wade, Mary Grooms and Lisa Huff; special nephew, Dale Cox and wife, Mary; special cousin, Bud Cox; and special friend, Leslie Fisher. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Turpin and the Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Interment to follow in the Irenia Mayberry Cox Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 27, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
