Cox, Buddy Clark

Buddy Clark Cox, 78, of Radford, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Radford Health and Rehab Center. He was born September 1, 1939 and was retired from Inland Motors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Lytton Cox his parents, Thornton Cox and Ola C. Cox; two sisters, Irene Radford and Melovie Lang; and two brothers, Eugene Cox and Kelly Cox.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Danny Simpkins of Walton; sisters and brother-in-law, Vivian and Bill Ellison of Radford, and Erlene and Jim Morrison of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Anthony Simpkins and Cary (Drew) Simpkins, all of Christiansburg; great grandson, Braiden Hill; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lee Sarver officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Lung Association.
