Archie Bascum Cox, 73, of Radford, passed away Thursday April 2, 2009. Preceded in death by Wife Sylvia Mae Duncan Cox and Son Johnny Ray Cox.

Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law Thomas Wayne & Beverley Cox; Brothers & Sisters-In-Law Kelly & Cleo Cox and Clinton & Billie Cox; Grandchildren Deandra Cox, Ryan Cox, and Brandon Cox; Step granddaughter Kristin “Abby” Costanza; Father-In-Law Lincoln Duncan; and Several nieces & nephews & friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 4, 2009 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Hosea Blankenship officiating. Interment to follow in the Sumpter Cemetery with Military Rites by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 & American Legion Post # 127. Family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday April 3, 2009 at Maberry Funeral Home.
