Cox, Annie Holbrook

Annie Holbrook Cox, 84, of Christiansburg , passed away, Sunday, January 6, 2008. She was born on September 14, 1923, in Bluefield, Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ples Cox. Her surviving family includes her sister, Alma Holbrook Russell; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ples Edward and Lydia Cox, Kenny C. and Patty Cox and Michael J. and Martha Cox; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie C. and Ted Allen; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
