Covey, Dorothy Baldwin

Dorothy Baldwin Covey, 97, of Radford, Va., passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at The Kroontje Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer T. Covey; and her mother and father, Rose and Charles Baldwin; daughter, Edith C. Lilly; brothers, Dean Baldwin, Joe Baldwin and Doug Baldwin.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jackie, Lemmon, Stephen Lilly and Susan Saunders; great grandchildren, Bryon Pennington, Rebecca Pennington, Jennifer Lilly, Brandie Lemmon, Katie Lemmon and Nicholas Lemmon; great-great grandchild, Zoe O’brien; and brother, Tom Baldwin.

The funeral services will be Monday, July 12, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Bobby Sutphin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Westview Cemetery.
