Countiss, Ella Mae

Ella Mae (Flo) Willis Countiss, 83, of Fairlawn, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008. She was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church and a certified nursing assistant at St. Alban’s Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Countiss; a son, Robert Countiss; a brother, Paul Willis; and a sister, Margaret Clark.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Sandi Countiss, of Fairlawn; a step grandson, Christopher Vest, of White Gate; a step great granddaughter, Haley Nicole Vest, of White Gate; four sisters and a brother in law, Josephine Adams, of Abingdon, Inez Nemeth, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Jeanette Bishop, of Conway, N.C., and Roberta and Don Wooten, of Hot Springs, Ark.; and two brothers and sisters in law, Robert O. and Roxanne Willis, of Battle Creek, Mich., and William (Bill) and Opal Willis, of Poteau, Okla.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Fairlawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
