Hazel Mae Nunn Miller Corvin, 76, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008, at the Pulaski Health Care Center. Born June 7, 1931, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Roaten Jackson Nunn and Mary Elizabeth Elliott Nunn.

Her first husband and the children’s father, Douglas Hugh Miller; her second husband, Alfred Corvin; brothers; Donald Lee Nunn and Roger Dale Nunn; sisters, Ruth Katherine Nunn and Shirley Ann Nunn; and a brother-in-law, Cecil Scott, also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Newbern Community Christian Church.

Surviving are her children, Catherine Miller Simpkins and husband, Steve, of Dublin, Vicki Miller Morris and husband, Steven, of Dublin, and Keith Douglas Miller and wife, Lana, of Roanoke County; brothers and sisters, Marie Elizabeth Nunn Scott, of Baltimore, Md., Betty Jean Nunn Cox and husband, Arnold, of Pulaski, Roaten Jackson Nunn Jr. and wife, Marsha, of Peru, Ind., Margie Eileen Schoolcraft, of Baltimore, Md., Robert Eugene Nunn and wife, Joan, of Baltimore, Md., and Brenda Sue Nunn and husband, Chris, of Delaware; grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn Corvin, Crystle Dawn Morris, Shannon Maggi and Gregory Chesnut; two special nieces , Donna Jean Nunn Golden and Lucinda Nunn Jones; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Minister Ernie Depew officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, February 19, 2008, at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
