amem_daffodils.jpgFlorence Aileen Lovern Corvin, 75, of Pulaski, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2009. She was born on November 27, 1933, in Pulaski County, Va., and was the daughter of the late George William Lovern and Mary Gertrude Underwood Lovern. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Neal Corvin; by two precious sons, Lester and Marlon; by a sister, Mary Edith Link; and by a brother, Clarence William Lovern. Surviving are her sons and spouse, Stephen M. Corvin, of Pulaski, and Timothy Lee and Patricia Corvin, of Pulaski; daughters and spouses, Kimberly and Robert Caudill, of Pulaski, Loretta and Jay Jones, of Pulaski, and Patricia and Don Caron, of Knoxville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; six step grandchildren; numerous step great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Garnett and Lottie Lovern, of Pulaski, David and Diane Lovern, of Dublin, and Fred and Tessie Lovern, of Pace, Fla.; sisters, Marlene Williams, of Pulaski, and Melba Corvin, of Pulaski; numerous nieces and nephews; and an abundance of very special friends. The family would like to extend a special appreciation to Dr. Eric Steen of Pulaski Hospital and the staff at Select Specialy Hospital for the comfort and care provided to her. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009, from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Steve Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, May 6, 2009, at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Pulaski, Va.
