Cornett, Roger Harless

Roger Harless Cornett, 64, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a retired over-the-road truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Hix and Juliette Snider Cornett. Survivors include two sisters and brother-in-law, Patty and David Mabry of Radford and Nancy Keshishian of Germantown, MD; one niece, three nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends Gary and Mary Farmer of Radford and Pete Hoover of Oxnard, CA. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00am at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Brian Cockram Officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friend from 10 until the time of the service. In lieu of flower the family request donations are made to the Radford VFW Post 776, Attn: Gary Harris, 402 Ninth St, Radford, VA 24141.
