Cooper, Patricia Ann

Patricia Witt Cooper, 58, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away August 12, 2009. The daughter of the late Rufus and Jean Witt, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Rufus Witt Jr.; and her husband, Charles Cooper.

She is survived by children, Cindy Harris and Dwayne Harris, Radford, Kim Sawyers, Newport, Lisa Burton, Christiansburg, Angela Murray, South Carolina, Charles Cooper, and Cody Sawyers, both of Christiansburg; a brother, James Witt, Texas, sister, Brenda Robertson, Pearisburg; 11 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; special friends, Kristi Baker and Kenny Burton; her dog, Max.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2009, at the Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009, in the Chapel of Horne Funeral Home conducted by Chaplain Jonathan Webster with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
