Cooper, Margaret Johnson

Margaret Johnson Cooper, 47 of Dublin, Va., passed away Friday morning, August 17, 2007. Margaret was born on July 25, 1960 in Pearisburg, Va. and was a daughter of Jesse Ray Johnson and Dorothy Whittaker Johnson of Pearisburg, Va.

Margaret was a 1978 graduate of Giles High School, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dublin, a member of the New River Valley Walk to Emmaus Community, a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and a friend to all.

She is survived by two sons, M. Jason DeBusk of Staffordsville, Robert B. Cooper of Dublin; two stepsons, Marcus Cooper and Nathan Cooper, both of North Carolina; one brother and sister-in-law, J. Chris and Teena Johnson of Staffordsville; one grandson, Nicholas DeBusk; and one niece, Lynnsey Johnson and special friend, TomBoxall.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 20, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Dublin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Rowland and Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
