Cooper, Audrey Alberta

Audrey Alberta Cooper, 90, of Blacksburg, Va., and formerly of Moneta, Va., died on Sunday, November 9, 2008. The daughter of the late Rev. William M. Cooper and Lottie H. Cooper, she was born in Richmond, Va. She was preceded in death by a dearly beloved cousin, Horace G. Dunford Jr.

Audrey was a graduate of Florida State University, and worked most of her career as Camp Administrator for the Girl Scouts of Rochester and Genesee Valley, N.Y., and previously in Baltimore, Md.

She is survived by cousins, Richard L. Dunford and wife, Ina, of Blacksburg, Va., and Marian D. Haynes, of Richmond Va.

She will be buried on Friday, November 14, 2008, in Richmond, Va. Audrey requested that memorials be made to The Warm Hearth Benevolence Endowment, 2607 Warm Hearth Drive, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va..
