Saford Wayne Cook, age 75, of Blacksburg died, Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Christiansburg, VA on January 29, 1945 to the late Herman R. And Arbutis Reed Cook.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda K. Cook; infant son, Calvin Cook; brothers, Adam Cook and Roy Cook; special friend Brenda Dowdy.

He is survived by his daughter; Vicky McCann (Jackie); sons, Robbie Cook (Teresa) and Steve Cook; grandchildren, Thomas McCann (Sarah), Kayla McCann, Nathaniel Perkins (Brittany), Garrett McCann, Timmy Hall, Daniel Cook, Tabatha Colwell (Jeremiah), Malynda Cook; great-grandchildren, Skylar McCann, Valerie Hall, Hunter Cook, Scarlett Colwell, Ravyn Colwell; sisters, Linda Ball (Mike), Susie Downey (David); sister-in-law, Marilyn Cook; brothers, Rob Cook (Debbie), Dexter Cook (Barbara),Sid Cook ( Penny), Tony Cook (Leann); Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that were like family.
