Cook, Dany Ray

Danny Ray Cook, 46, of Floyd, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lenza Marshall Cook and brother, Lenza Michael Cook. He is survived by son, Justin Cook, Galax; daughter, Karlie Cook, Galax; granddaughter, Kailey Cook, Galax; mother, Linda Cook, Floyd, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Conrad Dalton, Floyd, Va.; brother, David Cook; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Vass officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m.
