Cook, Adam Vester

Adam Vester Cook, age 58, of Christiansburg died, Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at New River Valley Medical Center. He was born in Christiansburg, VA on February 1, 1962 to the late Herman and Arbutis Cook. He was also preceded in death by his brother Roy Cook and sister-in-law Linda Cook.

He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Mike Ball of Blacksburg, Susie and David Downey of Myrtle Beach; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne Cook of Blacksburg, Leonard and Debbie Cook of Christiansburg, Dexter and Barbara Cook of Newport, Sidney and Penny Cook of Christiansburg, Toney and Leann Cook of Riner; partner, Peggy Hungate and her daughter Rhonda Priester; son, Jake Fox and girlfriend Krista Hale who showed compassion and selflessness while being caregivers.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Hale Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Rose officiating. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
